About us

Dynama is a civic association, based in Brno (Czech Republic) and London, operating in the areas of non-formal youth education and implementing international and local projects aimed at developing skills of young people and their involvement in the community.

Dynama mission: "To provide assistance to people migrating within the single European labor market with job search, education and adequate environmental background and the resulting focus on cultural and social context of the host country."

In the center of our projects are young people, their interconnection, events (seminars, training, meetings) aimed at developing life skills and competitiveness, and related networking.
We work with partner organizations in Italy, the Netherlands, England, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Austria, Serbia and Turkey.

Representatives of Dynama

ANNA PALACKA (anna@dynama.org)

An experienced lecturer in the field of formal, informal and lifelong learning.
Lecturer of English in secondary schools, after obtaining of an international certificate CELTA Anna acted in language schools and companies.

After the course "Theater and education" at the Janacek Academy of Performing Arts in Brno Anna is dedicated in working with young people. She implements an inclusive education projects using drama techniques (participation of blind children from orphanages, minorities), design activities for young coaches in Europe's grant programs and directs and coordinates international projects (programs: the Youth in Action, Culture, NROS and others).

Abroad, she worked as a lecturer retraining skills in a multicultural center for long-term unemployed. She worked with Ostrava Czech TV for a program about the Czechs living in the UK (show "Sabotaz").

Currently Anna is developing an international partnership of youth projects and manage a section of non-formal education in Dynama.

  • Adventures in Incubation; Czech Republic - EU; 2001 (Culture 2000)
Projects with schools and institutions:
  • Festival Hello Brno, Hello Europe presenting projects of young people. Cooperating with students of PdF and FF MU and FAVU VUT Brno; 2009
  • Hello World Pilot project aimed at developing soft skills (teamwork, presentation), in collaboration with the Gymnazium Brno (secondary school); 2008
  • Feast, year-long project for students of CMSPSaG Brno in cooperation with the Moravian Gallery; 2005
  • Diary Hedy, drama project with blind and sighted youth in collaboration with the Secondary School for the visually impaired, theater Barka and Labyrinth; 2002 - 2003

JAKUB SAMEK (jakub@dynama.org)

After studying at the University of South Bohemia, Jakub is moving to the UK. Here, working mainly in the financial sector, Jakub together with Eva Kleckova set up Light2Lift project comprising Czechs and Slovaks living in the UK. This eventually develops into a successful travel agency Minty Trips Ltd. Based on experience with Light2Lift and Minty Trips Ltd and after meeting with Anna Palacka the Dynama is created.

In Dynama Jakub is mostly devoted to the preparation, management and monitoring of ongoing projects and e-marketing. He also provides IT support.
